Need an extra pair of hands on board? I love maintenance, and I’m good at it. Especially precise, patient work, fitting, assembly and those finishing touches that make all the difference. Interior work is something I do with care and precision, and of course, I’m happy to take care of cleaning, too.
I’m not afraid of the heavy jobs either: working with oil, spending days inside dirty tanks or chipping away at rust. I know how to build up a paint system, which brands I would or wouldn’t choose, and why. I have experience with refits ranging from Tall Ships to superyachts.
Need someone on board while you’re out on the water? I have my seaman’s record book and the required certificates for both sea-going and inland navigation. I successfully completed my KZV qualification at the Enkhuizen Nautical College, which qualifies me as an Officer Navigational Watch (SCS).
I can also help with voyage preparation, planning and organisation. I have yachting experience and hold a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster qualification. I’m experienced in preparing and navigating long-distance offshore sailing passages, for example from the Netherlands to Greece or Mallorca. I’ve even helped set up a charter business.
